The University of New Haven NAACP Chapter has been established to address campus-wide, social, and political issues as well as educate, empower, and unite the next generation of student leaders. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is national professional organization dedicated to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. Members of this organization shall be official members of the national organization as well and are encouraged to participate in local, state, and national events hosted by the NAACP.
