Just received confirmation that we will be posting an honor guard for the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Holy Thursday at the three West Haven Churches holding this ceremony. This marks the 8th year in a row that we have been able to man all three locations. God's grace to all Knights in Colors for this event!

Assembly turned out for another Bingo at the West Haven VA Hospital on March 21. We had a bus trip to Mohegan Sun Casino (sold out) that day and still had enough Knights show up for this. Congratulations to all who made the effort to be there.

The Assembly had a great time again at the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT, putting on bingo for the patients on Saturday, Dec. 13th. We had about 20 patients attend the event, and we were followed by a group singing Christmas Carols.

Fourth Degree of West Haven is going to the VA Hospital on Saturday afternoon to play Bingo with the blind and amputee ward patients who can't get out to go home on the weekend. Great fun every time we do it.

Fr. Curtin Council 2541 of West Haven's First Degree Team has been doing the degree exemplifications on the first Monday of the month at the K of C Museum for some time. Our next one will be on January 5th, 2015, at 7PM. Come on down and watch us do our thing! Bring a candidate, too.

Congratulations to Abe Grillo of St. John Paul II Council and Carlos Lopez of Fr. Curtin Council in West Haven, CT, who took their 4th Degree on Sunday at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Waterbury. They were two of a class of 180 - an excellent turn-out.

Assembly 128 Color Corps helping out at the Blue Mass at Fr. Jeff Gubbiati's Blue Mass at Church of the Assumption in Ansonia, CT. We were by the Corps Commander and two Sir Knights from Fr. Breen Assembly in Milford and the Grand Knight of the local Council in Ansonia.

Assembly #128 is sponsoring a clergy appreciation dinner for the priests and deacons of West Haven. Since there are two councils covering 5 parishes with 3 priests and several deacons, and there are several chaplains at the area hospitals who live or work in West Haven, we decided to combine all the efforts through the Assembly. Dinner will be on Friday, October 18, at 7PM at App's Restaurant. Tickets are $40 each. Contact Bill Smith (203-934-9473) for reservations. All Knights are welcome to come and honor the clergymen who work so hard on our behalf.
