Planning is underway for the Association for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) 2026 conference in Montgomery, AL, September 16–19, 2026. ARSL is offering a Student Work Study opportunity for students in library programs!

Students can receive complimentary conference registration in exchange for about 10 hours of help during the conference in roles like front desk support, tech help, room wrangling, photography, and exhibit hall support. This covers registration only and does not include travel, lodging, or pre-conferences.
The application is at the link below and closes on April 30th. If you are selected for a work exchange position you will be contacted no later than May 11th to confirm your availability.
