Harwich Ecumenical Council for The Homeless

HECH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to develop compassionate solutions to homelessness problems for families on Cape Cod.

For over 23 years, HECH has found compassionate solutions to stabilize Cape Cod’s year-round population through affordable housing opportunities, a variety of homeowner and rental assistance programs, and more recently through the Housing Rehab program. HECH also provides safe, affordable childcare through The Children’s Center. Currently, HECH is working on an affordable housing project which will be named in memory of Bob Murray. HECH offers rental assistance to Yarmouth residents? With funds from The Town of Yarmouth Affordable Housing Trust, HECH administers Rental Assistance Programs to income-qualified households in Yarmouth.
