We hope you're enjoying the new catalog as much as we are! We do have a couple of updates for you:

📘 Libby App Users - If you are having app issues, you may need to re-enter your library card in the app under 'Manage Cards.' If you continue to have problems, call us at 860-561-6990.

📙 WHPL (LCI) App - We are expecting the app to be ready soon and will send out an announcement when it is live.

This contest was part of West Hartford’s Age-Friendly Communities Initiative, hosted in partnership with West Hartford Senior Centers, West Hartford Municipal Parking, Connecticut Age Well Collaborative, and Connecticut Community Care.

We are hard at work preparing to launch our new library catalog!

We will begin the transition to the new catalog tonight at 9:00pm with the hope to launch on Wednesday, June 3. Here’s what you need to know about how library services will be impacted leading up to the launch:

🔹 You will not be able to place holds or access your account.
🔹 You will be able to browse the catalog, but information may not be current.
🔹 Libraries will be open for browsing, borrowing, and all other library services. Library staff can help you locate items on the shelf and check them out to you.
🔹 Library materials will not be due during this period.
🔹 Please bring your library card with you to the library, as we will have limited ability to look up accounts.
