Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford enhances and strengthens quality of life through the Jewish tradition of caring and compassion. Jewish Family Services provides counseling, education, and community support to help people of all ages and religions advance along the path toward emotional well-being, self-reliance, more positive relationships, and a renewed sense of possibility. Jewish Family Services is a partner agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the United Way of Central and Northwestern Connecticut. We receive additional grant support from the Jewish Community Foundation, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and other community and corporate foundations. Jewish Family Services is a member of the Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies and is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

No one in our community should go hungry. That's why the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at JFS offers a variety of culturally appropriate, nutritious food.

You'll find kosher and halal food, Spanish brands like Goya, plus fresh eggs, produce, and bread. We stock diapers and pet food too.

Are you caring for someone with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia? You are not alone. 💜

Care at Home by JFS co-facilitates free, monthly support groups where you can connect with others, share your experience, and find encouragement in a compassionate space.

JFS is excited to partner with the Wellness Institute again this school year to bring free webinars to our community on a variety of youth mental health and wellbeing topics.

The series kicks off on September 2 with Keeping Kids Safe: A Parent’s Guide to Youth Su***de Prevention, followed by The Science of Defiance: Why Students Shut Down and How to Motivate Them on September 8. Check out the full calendar to see upcoming topics for this school year.
