Dearborn County, IN will now remain under a “yellow” travel advisory until further notice due to drifting and blowing snow, refreezing of roadways causing slick spots, and the potential for wind chills reaching -15 degrees over the next few days.

We have seen an uptick in slide offs caused by these conditions and urge everyone to be extra cautious.

A “Yellow” travel advisory indicates the following: The lowest level of local travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Indiana travel status map can be found at https://www.in.gov/dhs/traveladvisory/.

Please do not call 911 to ask for road conditions.
