🎉 I have some PROUD PRINCIPAL news to share!

I recently received the sweetest email from a principal in NC, who had the pleasure of meeting our West Hamlin 5th graders during their trip to Dollywood. She took time out of her day to write to us and share that our students were outgoing, funny, and polite — and that she truly enjoyed their company! 🎢❤️

This is exactly the kind of news that reminds us why we do what we do. These kids work so hard every day, and it fills our hearts to know they are shining bright even outside of the classroom.

To our 5th graders — WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU! 👏
To our amazing teachers and staff — thank you for pouring into these kids every single day. It shows! 🍎

It’s almost time 5th graders! Our trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is here! You’ve had the fundraisers, you’ve paid for the trip, and now you get to have the fun! Hard work pays off! Woohoo!

Don’t forget to be at school Monday morning between 5:15 and 5:30. We leave at 6:00 AM. Remember to pack a pair of tennis shoes for Dollywood! If there are any other questions, contact Mrs. Schroeder or Mr. Brandon Pritchard. See you bright and early Monday morning!

National Honor Society Families:

We have had a FABULOUS day! We all made it safe and sound through ice skating, bumper boats, laser tag, Sky Zone, and most of us survived Golden Corral unscathed! 🤣💪 We were told everywhere we went that the Lovelies were the best behaved they’d had in a long time! 💚💚💚
Heading home now! We should pull into WHE around 6:15! See you soon!

It is with a heavy heart that we are canceling our annual East Lynn trip tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th. Unfortunately, the forecast is showing rain throughout the entire day, and we just can't make it work. We are so sorry for the inconvenience — everyone was really looking forward to this trip.

West Hamlin Elementary needs your help!

We have 60 boxes of chocolate bars to sell, and every bar purchased helps support our students and school community!

All proceeds from the chocolate fundraiser will go directly back to West Hamlin Elementary to help fund school activities, student events, and improvements around our school.
