Crews from multiple area departments spent the afternoon assisting Mesopotamia Fire Department with a fire prevention demonstration. Various grades from the Bloomfield-Mespo Elementary learned fire prevention practices and received various tours on all types of Fire and EMS apparatus as well as a presentation from a local Fire Department K9 that is trained in various disciplines.

Fire officials tell 21 News the man was putting shingles on the roof of a building and fell off.

534 South is currently shut down and will have various lane restrictions until utilities can be repaired.

Farmington and Southington Fire Departments are currently working the scene. Please avoid the area.
