Yesterday Western New York Fire & EMS community lost a great Firefighter Great EMT. Don Corey of the Holland Fire Department dedicated 40 plus years to the Holland Fire Department and to the EMS Community of Western New York. He had made many strides to the community and was one that would drop anything to Help anyone.

As we morn his loss to the community the Members of the West Falls Fire Company and the Aurora/Colden Fire District #6 would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Don’s Family and the Members of the Holland Fire Department.

We ask everyone take a moment and say a prayer or take a moment for Don’s family and the members of the Holland Fire Department.

Don fly high with the angles and watch over us all. Rest easy we will take it from here.

On behalf of the Members of West Falls Fire Company & the Aurora/Colden Fire District #6 we would like to congratulate Lt. Dave Suttle on his retirement. Lt. Suttle it was great working with you and your support to the community. May you enjoy a long and healthy retirement .

Everyone at EAPD would like to wish Lieutenant Dave Suttell a long and healthy retirement on his last day today!! Dave, thanks for everything you did for our citizens and department over the last 20+ years!

The Members of the West Falls Fire Company and the Aurora/Colden Fire District #6 would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and the members of the Watertown Fire Department on the passing of Fire Fighter Peyton Morse who succumbed to his injuries after an incident while training.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Peyton's Family and the members of the Watertown Fire Department. Please keep all of those involved in your thoughts and prayers . Rest in Peace Firefighter Morse we will take it from here !!!!

With the recent snow fall we ask anyone that has a fire hydrant in front or across the street from you to take time to clean out. Remember when seconds count that can mean a difference between life and death.

Also ask that your house numbers are visible and an attempt to keep the driveway and sidewalks clear.

The members of the Weet Falls Fire company and the Aurora/Colden Fire District would like to express our deepest condolences to Past Chief/ Fire Commissioner Witka’s family and to the Lakeview Fire Company/ Lakeview Fire District our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. John is a great loss to not only to Lakeview but to the fire districts of Erie County and will be greatly missed for his years of expiernce, his vast knowledge that he was always willing to share ,and his committed support to the Fire Service. Rest easy Commissioner we will take it from here !!

It's with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Active Life Member and Fire Commisioner John Wicka. John was the rock and staple of our fire department. May you rest in peace brother John. We will take it from here.

The Members or the West Falls Fire Company and the Aurora Colden Fire District #6 would like to express our sincerest condolences toe Past Chief Richard Rich Willard ‘s family in their loss and to our brother and sister’s of the Elma Fire Comapny in the sudden lost of Past Chief Willard. You fought the great fight chief against COVID-19 rest easy we will take it from here. You all are in our thoughts and prayers

Members of the Elma Fire Company today mourn the passing of past Chief/ Past President Richard J. Willard. Rich succumbed to complications due to Covid-19 this afternoon. Rich was an active member for over 52 years and held many Offices within the organization, most recently as Treasurer. Rich was an indispensable part of our daily operation and will be deeply missed by all. Please keep his Family in your thoughts and prayers.

Friday October 30, 2020 Detective Darren Longboat retired from the East Aurora/Town of Aurora Police Department. We thank Darren for over 24 years of service with our department and can't state how valuable he was to us. He was as dedicated as one good to be to this department.
