Our family began making maple syrup in the 1980's with a barrel being towed by a lawn mower through town and has expanded to making approximately 1,000 gallons of maple syrup in one season. Our products can be found in several businesses in the Mohawk Valley, including Twin Orchards, Peter's Cornucopia (both in New Hartford, NY).

The season is off to a slow start but we are fortunate to have enough sap to boil another night. The weekend temperatures look great so hopefully there will be some late nights. New equipment is working great and the boys are very happy.

The cold winter temperatures and snow that just wont quit has made it a slow start to the maple season. We have made some syrup and the new evaporator is working perfectly. The work in the woods continues as we look for damage and leaks.
