Durham Fire’s own Jere Waterman retired tonight, with more than a dozen years of service and dedication given to our community. He leaves behind a legacy of service. He was the Fire/Police and Support Member of the Year in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2022. We thank him for his service and wish him good health in his next chapter.
