Wildcat Families — Get Involved with BPAC!

Our Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) has a full year of opportunities planned for families to connect, learn, and get involved at WeGo!

Join us for our first BPAC meeting on Thursday, September 17, from 6:30–8:00 PM in the Community Room. Meet BPAC leaders and other families, learn more about BPAC, and find out how you can get involved.

📅 Check out the flyers for the full 2026–27 BPAC calendar. We hope to see you there!

Our first Student of the Month this year is senior Ana Hurtado!

If you've been to a Girls Soccer game over the past four years, we promise you you've seen Ana ripping it up out on the pitch! But her athletic aptitude is only one part of who she is and what she's involved in here at WeGo. Ana is also a Flag Football safety this year, involved in the National Honor Society, and an editor and photojournalist for the Wildcat Chronicle.

Ana sees herself teaching English Language Arts after college, hopefully right back here in the hallowed halls of WCCHS, so it's no surprise that one of the people she was most eager to thank was teacher and Language Arts Division Head Lauren Stewart.

Don't miss your chance to watch Ana rep the white and blue for one final soccer season this spring before she heads down the road to Wheaton College next fall to begin working on a degree in Secondary Education!

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders, and reflect on the countless families and communities forever impacted by that day.

As a school community, we recognize the importance of remembering our shared history and helping future generations understand the significance of September 11.

Congratulations to our District 94 Board of Education!

The D94 Board of Education has earned School Board Governance Recognition from the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB).

D94 is one of just 53 school districts across Illinois to receive this honor, recognizing effective governance practices and a commitment to continuous learning and development. This is the first time District 94 has earned this distinction.

Congratulations to our Board members, and thank you for your continued leadership and commitment to our students, staff, and community!

The calendar says summer's not technically over just yet, Wildcats, but we've been back at it for weeks already, so it's time to find out the answer to two pressing questions:

1) What was the highlight of your summer, and

2) What are you most looking forward to this year?

Join us this morning as Profe Mastro catches up with as many of you as she can outside Entrance 1 to find out!

⛽Fuel up and support the Wildcats!

The Wildcat Spirit Pump at The PRIDE Stores is supporting West Chicago Community High School Athletics!

Stop by 1905 Franciscan Way (corner of North Avenue & Route 59), look for the Wildcat Spirit Pump, and fill up for a great cause. A portion of sales from the pump will benefit our Wildcat student-athletes and athletic programs.

We’re grateful to THE PRIDE Stores for their partnership and continued support of our Wildcats and the West Chicago community!
