We provide free, non-judgemental support & love to pregnant women. We offer information and referrals to help clients meet their emotional and material needs.

Birthright is a non-profit, charitable organization that has been providing love and support for over 45 years to women facing unplanned pregnancies. We have chapters across the United States, Canada and Africa as well as a 24/7 toll-free HOTLINE. Birthright is supported by devoted volunteers and private donations and takes no government money. Birthright of West Chester was founded in December 19

82 and has helped hundreds of women over our nearly 40 years in the Borough of West Chester. We continue to offer love, hope and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies and help make a realistic plan for her future and the future of her unborn child. Birthright treats each woman as an individual who deserves love and respect, as well as personal attention to her unique situation. Birthright services are always free, confidential and available to any woman regardless of age, race, religion, marital status or financial situation. The essence of Birthright is LOVE.

It was a sunny and upbeat day at the Turks Head Music Festival this past Sunday ☀️🎸🥁

Big thank you to our volunteers who dedicated part of their weekend for important community outreach about our pregnancy services 💗

We absolutely love this yearly event for the great music, good convos and the vibes 🙌

We’re always looking for more volunteers to help us with weekend events! We’re already looking forward to Touch-A-Truck in August 🚒and the Chester County Restaurant Festival in September 🌯

Thankful for volunteers like Juliana and Matt 🌼

This past Sunday, Birthright volunteer Juliana and her husband Matt generously gave their time (and even purchased materials themselves!) to build brand new shelving along the back wall of our Inventory Room.

The 2nd photo shows what the shelving used to look like. After 15+ years of wear and constant use, it had started to weaken and become a safety concern. Thanks to their hard work, our space is already more organized, functional, and safe for both our volunteers and the moms we serve 🙌

After more than 40 years of ministry, we’ve learned how to make the most of every inch of space and every dollar entrusted to us. But improvements like this truly make a difference — especially as we continue working to refresh other areas of our center, including our Maternity Clothes section where moms can shop for themselves with dignity and support.

Since Mother’s Day was yesterday and Father’s Day will be here in a few weeks I’m taking today as an opportunity to thank my own mom & dad for CHOOSING LIFE for me!!

I may be the director of Birthright but I’m also the product of an unplanned pregnancy. My mom, Therese and my, dad Jay met and began dating in their freshman year of college at and got pregnant with me when they were 18.
Luckily, both of my parents had the support of their families to help them and here I am today,
helping to bring love and support to women and families in similar situations 💗

Choosing life wasn’t easy but it was worth it. I will always thank my parents for making sacrifices and will always recognize the impact their choice has had even on my children - their grandchildren.

I would love it if you read more about my pro-life origin story in our Spring Newsletter (link in bio) and share it with friends or family as a way to encourage and inspire the next generation of young parents. You can do this!
