Thank you and Merrill Gardens at West Chester for holding a winter glove drive for the Safe Harbor of Chester County Community. We are so appreciative especially during these cold winter months.

Senior Helpers and Merrill Gardens at West Chester are teaming up to provide new gloves to men, women, and children at Safe Harbor of Chester County! Drop off your donations to 1201 Ward Ave, West Chester, or reach out to Jessica Speroff or Alyssa Dolan to coordinate a pickup this month. Thank you in advance for your support in helping our neighbors get through the winters!!

Former residents, Gerald and Evelyn, from 2018 and 2019, stopped by the shelter today to say HELLO and THANK YOU to Safe Harbor for providing shelter, food, and individual action plans that led them to leading productive lives. All of us at Safe Harbor could not part with the poster that was printed in their honor and dedication. We were hoping that one day they would visit us and also to give them this poster, and TODAY IS THAT DAY!! We are so glad you stopped by and happy to finally see you again!!

Turks Head Cafe in West Chester is donating 50% of the proceeds from sales of their Guatemalan Roast during their first quarter to Safe Harbor of Chester County. Bags of whole bean and ground Dulce Leonard's Guatemalan coffee can be purchased in store and online at www.turksheadcoffee.com. Thank you to our friends at Turks Head Cafe and friends who purchase their coffee!

We're honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by creating care packages for those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Items needed include hand warmers, tissues and other personal care items. Collection ends on 1/15.

Thank you again to Better Than Bacon Improv and Hot Breakfast for 2 amazing performances, Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center for hosting the show, and the entire audience who attended the 'Comedy for a Cause Show' on November 11th. A total of $4,000 was raised, and the proceeds from this event were generously donated to us and ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester! We enjoyed your awesome show, attendance, generosity, and support!

Come on out to Victory Beer in Downingtown and Victory Brewing Company Parkesburg today up until closing time, and a $1 from every draft beer that is sold will be donated to Safe Harbor! Everyone, please stay safe in the elements this evening. We have initiated Code Blue for our residents and are placing four additional men and women for Code Blue this evening.
