Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police

Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Formed in December of 1981, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is one of Pennsylvania's 34 regional police departments.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is committed to providing the optimum service, performance, and dedication to the community through proper, responsive, community-based police service. The department staff is divided among the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Traffic Safety Unit, and Police Administration. The Police Department is also a member of the West Chest

er Regional Emergency Response Team (E.R.T.), which consists of officers from Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, West Goshen Township Police Department, West Chester Borough Police Department, West Whiteland Township Police Department, Willistown Township Police Department and Uwchlan Township Police Department. These officers receive special training in weapons and tactics and can be deployed rapidly to emergencies or critical incidents. The Police Department is committed to its community policing philosophy and stresses, through its Mission Statement, its commitment to providing the optimum service, performance, and dedication to the community through proper, responsive community-based police service.

Missing Person - East Goshen Township

Update: Last night at 6 PM Henry was seen walking west on East Gay Street heading towards West Chester Borough.

Henry Robinson - 58 years old

Henry was last seen (yesterday) on June 6th at approximately 2:45 PM after leaving his residence on foot.

At the time, he was wearing a plain gray T-shirt, jean shorts, and black-and-white Jordan sneakers.

Bear Sightings in East Goshen 🐻

WEGO is aware of numerous bear sightings specifically in Wentworth Estates and Bow Tree Developments.

The PA Game Commission has been notified.

PA’s new distracted driving law, Paul Miller’s Law, can now be enforced with citations.

For the past year there was a warning period.

What you need to know:
You cannot use an interactive mobile device while driving. “Driving” includes when you’re stopped in traffic, at a stop sign, or at a red light. If the car is on and you’re in control, the law applies.

Starting June 5, 2026: $50 fine + court costs/fees

Hands-free or phone-down. Arrive alive.

Prescription Drug Drop Box Update

The prescription drug drop box located at the East Goshen Township Building is currently out of service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Residents can continue to safely dispose of unused, expired, or unwanted prescription medications at our second collection site located at:

Medication drop-offs are accepted during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Properly disposing of unused medications helps prevent accidental poisoning, prescription drug misuse, and environmental contamination. Our secure prescription drug take-back box provides a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of medications year-round.
