Friday provided ideal conditions for West Carrollton’s Arbor Day tree planting at Wilson Park.

Mayor Rick Barnhart and Deputy Mayor Jill Tomlin were joined by local Girl Scouts, members of the City Beautiful Commission and Recreation Board, Miss Ohio Amerifest Mini Supreme, and community families to take part in the planting.

The new tree adds to the landscape at Wilson Park and reflects the community’s ongoing care for its public spaces. West Carrollton is also celebrating 37 consecutive years as a Tree City USA community, highlighting a continued commitment to maintaining and investing in the city’s trees.
