The Borough of West Cape May is getting ready to celebrate America 250! 🇺🇸
Cape May County Commissioner Vice Director Andrew Bulakowski presented to the Borough of West Cape May an award of $5,179.50 to help support the Borough’s plans for a memorable celebration honoring America’s 250th Birthday.
Pictured with Vice Director Bulakowski is Mayor George Dick, Deputy Mayor Susan Hoffman, and Commissioner Ellen McDevitt.
The Borough plans to host a patriotic festival for all ages in Wilbraham Park on Wednesday, July 1st from 4-8pm.
Activities and celebrations include:
Music performances by the United States Coast Guard Recruit Band at 5PM and the John Walter Cape Community Band at 6PM. Food trucks, festive decorations throughout the park, and a variety of family activities such as face painting, balloon animals, and patriotic souvenirs!
This funding is part of Cape May County’s “Land of the Free, Celebration 250” grant program, which will support patriotic celebrations in all 16 municipalities across the county.
We look forward to seeing West Cape May bring this historic milestone to life! 🎆
