Otherwise, a few showers and isolated non-severe storms can't be ruled out into parts of NW Illinois.

Multiple rounds of storms through Saturday morning pose a localized flooding threat across the region, but primarily in eastern Iowa. Swaths of 2+ inches of rain are possible with rainfall rates exceeding an inch per hour at times. Remember to never drive or walk through flooded areas!

Scattered showers/storms to develop this evening and last through the night, with better chances after midnight. An isolated strong/severe storm cannot be ruled out, mainly in far southeast IA and northeast MO. Additional isolated strong to severe storms are possible Monday afternoon in southeast IA and northeast MO.

Line of storms will track east over the next few hours. A few storms may become severe, largely for areas south of I-80 and west of the Mississippi River. Storm intensity/coverage remains uncertain as they approach the river and north of I-80.
