The West Burlington Police Department’s K9 Fundraiser is TODAY — June 13 — at Roederer’s Pit Stop in Burlington!

Join us for a full day of fun as we raise money for our K9 Unit. We’ll be hosting a Bags Tournament, several exciting raffles — including a shotgun raffle.

Bags Tournament

Sign‑ups: 11:00 AM

Tournament Start: Noon

Entry Fee: $40 per team of 2

We have amazing raffle prizes, 50/50 and the one‑and‑only DJ Mike Ripple keeping the energy high all afternoon. Even if you’re not playing bags, come hang out, enjoy the music, and try your luck at winning something awesome. Drawings will take place at 4PM!

Funds raised go directly to supporting our K9 Department, including advanced training and helping purchase our next K9 when the time comes.

Come celebrate our incredible K9 Maverick and support a program that truly strengthens our community.

🚨UPDATE: The raffle drawing will now take place at 4 PM, giving you plenty of time to purchase your tickets and place them in your favorite baskets.

This Tornado Watch has been issued area-wide for a bowing line of storms with embedded circulations in central Iowa racing eastward. In addition, storm cells will develop ahead and potentially southwest of the bow that will have a tornado threat too. Stay aware today!
