Extra Big THANK YOU to OCPO staff! Walking into a decorated office completely made my day. The wonderful decorations turned a regular work day into a fantastic birthday memory! I'm so lucky to work with such thoughtful and caring people. You really know how to make a girl feel special! ❤️

Today is a day set aside to reaffirming allegiance to the U.S. and recognizing American freedoms. Our Americanism unites us all dispite different political ideologies, creeds, and/or ethnic backgrounds. On Loyalty Day, join me in reflecting on our country's unique liberties and the sacrifices made by our fellow Americans so that we can continue to live with the rights endowed by our creator. 🇺🇸

May 1st is Law Day. To mark this special occassion, children from St. Joseph came to the county building and participated in a mock trial. This hands on courtroom experience, helps students understand the importance of our laws as well as their future civic responsibility. Students also learned about the justice system by acting out roles like lawyers, witnesses, and jurors. They did a great job and impressed the many department heads and elected officials who participated in this exercise. Thanks St. Joes! Hopefully we sparked an interest in some students continuing their academic pursuits in the field of law.
