We often have metal head boards and foot boards if you want to make something similar. You might even find the wood at our site too.

Painted red, paired with a slab of wood, and suddenly an old metal headboard isn’t a headboard anymore — it’s a bench.

This is the kind of repurpose that doesn’t need much explaining… it just works. ♻️

Those nails pose a danger when you load up your truck/trailer to bring things to us and again when you and we are unloading and stacking it. We know its too much work to remove them but PLEASE take a moment to hammer them back over so they aren't going to stab someone. It also lets us stack more into each dumpster, more quickly.

Saturday, June 20th we'll have a shredding truck onsite from 9-noon for confidential document shredding. The first two banker boxes or grocery bags of paper are free. This event is only for residents of Boylston, Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling and West Boylston.

This looks like a great opportunity!!

Bring in your broken belongings on June 20th from 4-7PM for Technocopia volunteers to repair at our first public repair cafe!

If you would like things repaired, swing on by and we'll set you up with the repair volunteer who has the skills needed to fix your belongings. For some repairs that require more time or specific parts, we'll still try to provide advice on next steps and refer you to what parts you might need to get to fix it

Even if you're not sure that we can help you fix an item that is niche or weird, please bring it anyway! Everyone has very cool skillsets, and even if we don't have someone who directly knows how to help, it's very possible that we either have a contact you can bring the items to or we can crowdsource research to either fix it together or fix it in the future!

If you left a sewing machine with our wonderful Sewing Machine Lady to repair please come to pick it up. We have four machines awaiting pickup. We don’t have a lot of room in the fabrics department for all these sewing machines. Please come and pick them up.

West Boylston residents are getting new trash and recycling carts and we're offering a special collection for the residents who don't have a use for your old rigid plastic containers.

West Boylston residents can bring up to 5 of their old rigid plastic trash and recycling containers to the Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

To help make the transition easier, we're offering this special collection day exclusively for West Boylston residents. The Town of West Boylston will cover the cost of disposal.
Please bring proof of residency. We hope you'll take advantage of this convenient opportunity to responsibly recycle your old containers!
