๐Ÿšง Public Works Wednesday: Boxford's Need for a New DPW! ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

As Boxford has grown over the past five decades, so too has the need for a modern and safe DPW to keep up with our expanding community. Let's look at how our town has transformed:

๐Ÿ”น 1970:
Population 4,032
Households: 1,028

๐Ÿ”น 2024:
Population: 8,203 ๐ŸŒŸ (Up by 50.9%!)
Households: 2,846 ๐Ÿก (A 176.6% increase!)

With this growth comes increased demand for essential services. Our expanding population means more roads to maintain, more waste to manage, and greater need for efficient town services. The old Department of Public Works (DPW) facility is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of our growing town. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘‰ The new DPW facility will:
โ€ข Provide space for expanded operations
โ€ข Improve response times for public services
โ€ข Enhance the safety and efficiency of our infrastructure maintenance

As Boxford continues to grow, so must our services. The new DPW facility is an investment in the future of our community, ensuring we can meet the needs of all residentsโ€”now and in the years to come. ๐ŸŒณ
