United Way Of Washington County kicked off its 90th annual campaign with "Packing for a Purpose" at Moraine Park Technical College yesterday.

The West Bend Water Utility will be performing its biannual city-wide flushing of the water system the week of October 4-9, 2026. Each day, flushing will begin at 10:30 p.m. and continue until 6:30 a.m. the following morning.

On Thursday, October 8, the Water Utility will exercise pressure-reducing valves in the system, which may result in the need for additional flushing.
