🌟 Wonderful Wednesday! 🌟

We’re starting the day with a little gratitude for the people in our community who continue to support Family Promise of Washington County and the families we serve. ❤️

As we go through the week, we’re always reminded that it’s the little things that help keep everything running smoothly. Right now, we are especially in need of garbage bags, bath towels, and bottled hand soap. These are everyday essentials that our families use regularly, and keeping them stocked helps us make sure we have what we need when families need it.

If you’re able to donate any of these items, we’d be so grateful! Donations can be dropped off at 450 E. Water St., West Bend.

Yesterday we had Executive Director, Lori Prescott from Family Promise of Washington County speak at our Optimist Club meeting about homelessness! There is always a need for safe shelter & housing assistance for this struggling. We appreciate the work at Family Promise.

🐴 A BIG THANK YOU to Coming Full Circle Incorporated! 🐴

On September 17, we had the pleasure of welcoming Badger and Copper back to Family Promise of Washington County! 💚

A huge thank-you to Coming Full Circle Incorporated – Little Horses Making a BIG Difference for bringing these two sweet mini horses to visit with us. Their visit brought so many smiles and was such a fun and special addition to our day! 🥰🐴

We are grateful for the work you do in our community and for taking the time to share Badger and Copper with us. Thank you for making a BIG difference and for coming back to visit us!

❤️ A HUGE thank you to Threads of Love with CrossWay Church: Germantown, Sussex, North Shore & Online❤️

This week, our Executive Director had the wonderful opportunity to speak with the Threads of Love ministry and share more about Family Promise of Washington County, the families we serve, and the realities of homelessness right here in Washington County.

We are incredibly grateful to this wonderful group for their generosity and thoughtfulness.

Through the kindness of Linda Hively and the Threads of Love ministry, Family Promise of Washington County received around 200 handmade items, including beautiful knitted socks, winter hats, and scarves!

So much time, care, and love went into making these items, and they will help bring warmth and comfort to the families we serve this winter.

Thank you, Linda, and everyone at Threads of Love, for your incredible generosity and for helping make a difference in the lives of local families!

🛒 A LITTLE HELP WITH OUR CURRENT NEEDS 🛒

Our shelves are always moving as we provide everyday essentials to local families—and right now, a few items are especially helpful! ❤️

🗑️ Garbage Bags — still one of our biggest needs
🛁 Bath Towels — currently needed
🫧 Bottled Hand Soap — always appreciated

These may seem like simple household items, but they make a real difference for families who are working hard to get back on their feet. Having these essentials available means we can provide them when a family needs them most.

🎒 WHAT AN AMAZING COMMUNITY! 🎒

The Washington County Back to School Fair was a huge success, and Family Promise of Washington County is so grateful for everyone who helped make it possible! 💙

A very special thank you to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County for hosting this wonderful event and bringing our community together to support local children and families. We are so grateful for your partnership!

Because of the generosity of our community, children and families were able to head into the new school year with much-needed school supplies, backpacks, and a little extra excitement for the year ahead.

This event truly takes a community, and we are incredibly thankful to the businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals who donated, volunteered, and helped make a difference.
