Well 2016 Nationals is in the books. Spent the afternoon in Sedona enjoying the sights and now we are boarding to fly home. I think all enjoyed the week but it's fair to say all are very excited to be enroute to sleep in our own beds!!!!!!

Day 5 started with the Rally at Lumberjack Stadium. The US Marshalls along with local agencies put together a SWAT demonstration that included several distraction devices(flashbangs), an explosive breach of a door, and a helicopter medevac of the suspect. We then took an afternoon trip to the Lava River Caves for a 1.5 mile trek through a cave formed by volcanic eruptions. Off to dinner now then the closing ceremony to finish off the night.

Day 4 has been a bit hectic so far. Had the last two competitions of the conference right before and right after lunch. The first ran a bit long and took away some lunch time. The kids got a great experience of what it is like to go from call to call having to grab any food you can between. Stressful but I think all survived. Now, we are off to Exploring USA to see how other post from around the country do things.
