Our walls have new art! 🤩

Meet the artists behind these beautiful pieces:

Cindy Hansen is a Wisconsin photographer whose work explores creativity through staged self-portraiture and digital composite photography. A storyteller, costume and set designer, actor, director, and producer, Cindy creates imagined scenes by combining photographs into something that exists only in her imagination. Her work explores themes of humor, introspection, power, feminism, resistance, forgiveness, dementia, and surrealism.

Emily Barelmann Art is a Wisconsin watercolorist inspired by the landscapes, natural life, and small-town scenes that surround her. After discovering watercolors as a new mother, Emily found an immediate connection with the medium. Now working from her rural Washington County studio and en plein air, she often paints the rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine and surrounding farmland, encouraging viewers to slow down, notice the beauty around them, and appreciate the land we are fortunate to have.

Karen Goetzinger creates gestural abstract paintings inspired by the overlooked, imperfect, and fleeting moments of beauty. Working with mixed media such as acrylic, ink, graphite, and oil pastel, Karen uses expressive brushwork, color, and marks to capture the emotions and memories connected to those seemingly inconsequential moments. Her abstract work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and discover beauty in the everyday.

While we are thankful for them (+ their sass!) every day, we get together a few times throughout the year to truly share our appreciation and keep them in the loop. ❤️

This morning was our first-ever Books & Brunch! A cozy morning filled with brunch, bookworms, and browsing a curated selection from The Book Nook WI LLC.
