LRS had some truck issues during our Friday 1/19/24 pick up, which ended up with some getting picked up late Friday night and some on Saturday 1/20/24. There were a handful of sporadic customers that were missed on the east side of the Town so an Operations Manager will be coming out on Tuesday 1/23/24 to pick up these missed customers. If you live on Hwy Z…Hwy NN…Scenic Dr…or Paradise Dr and your garbage has not been picked up…please leave your bins out but pull them back into your driveway and off the road (we are supposed to get snow again and our plow drivers will be out treating roads etc and we don’t want the bins getting dumped over from the snow coming off the plows)…the LRS driver will physically get out of the truck and get your bins to unload them into his truck. If your garbage was not picked up and you are on a different road than listed above, please comment here so that I can get in touch with management at LRS to add you to the list.
I hope all will be back to normal come Friday 1/26/24.

**Update 1/13/24 from LRS**

Good Morning Brenda,

Due to the snow volumes, State of Emergency snow notice & landfill closures we will not be operating today. For the Town of West Bend, collections will resume on your regular service day Friday 1.19.23.

We will be sending an extra truck Friday 1.19.23 to service the east-side recycling. This means recycling for the entire town will be collected. We will be posting this information on our page, but if there is any way for you to spread the word, that would be greatly appreciated. We will also be collecting any extras the residents may have out due to the one-week delay. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause the residents, but safety is our number one priority.

I know this isn’t ideal but we can’t control Mother Nature 😞

Garbage and recycling pick up for Friday 1/12/24 has been delayed 1 day due to the weather affecting LRS routes on 1/9/24. Town of West Bend pick up is now scheduled for Saturday 1/13/24. Please note that we are expecting another storm Friday 1/12/24 and this could further delay LRS routes.
