Leaving the water tonight, someone (a stranger who saw us the week prior) approached & said, "we just really want to be in your class, because, well, in your class everyone is splashing & laughing, and having fun"...

So we keep moving.
Show up.
Do the work.
Again & again.

🌊 Build a culture. Check.
🌊 Wake the Cape. Check.
🌊Then build a pool too. Checking...

A simple summary of our evening tonight that gives us a good laugh and feeling of success and JOY:

✨ Our three year old still refers to the ocean as "the pool"

✨ Our third consecutive night on the beach looks like this (gear packed by a very independent toddler)

✨ Our confidence in our own children around water is...high...as we've familiarized them with bodies of water & all protocols around it...for years now!

We were asked to write an impact statement for recently. This exercise forced us to take a pause & look at the calendar retrospectively for a year:

- 5 different pools
- 3 different instructors
- 8 unique programs
- 40 children in our learn-to-swim program
- 100 swim team athletes this winter
- 260 total classes since last April

We've been busy. In the water. As a coach. As a mother.

We are beyond grateful for this little non-profit that is making waves on Cape Cod. While it's rare we post a personal photo, we are proud to look back at this work & know that the ripples are widening in the water.

🎵 Everything, Hallelujah.

It is interesting to see the ebb & flow of teams in this event since the first ride (jersey is here: this was post hurricane, when a brave group of riders still went out to ride even despite branches on the road and the official event being cancelled) it's also nice to see the constants along the way....

Two wheels. One community. Let's go 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

We've been too busy in the water to post!

If there's one thing about this journey we've adored, it's how it's taken us back to the best versions of our childhood self.

Passing our swim legacy to the next generation. From underwater tea parties to early season dips, you'd be in by now. 🧜‍♀️💋

Usually our post frequency here is 1/month. February has caught us with a few random moments, of the biggest feelings. The really high highs, and then the low lows. The reminders of why we're here. The time is short. We've reflected on the hours & years of equity that we've dumped into a single mission. We're beyond proud.

Have you been wondering what we're up to? We can't wait to share. February has been absolutely huge for us. The energy is shifting & it's tangible. As we embrace a new lunar new year-

We are beyond lucky to be the fabric of this Cape community, weaving together a quilt that is so, so thick. We appreciate Mother Nature now in these frozen days, as the snow begins to melt & we are getting ready for the spotlight!
