Thank you to the Irving PTA and our WAWM Recreation Program for your financial support in making our playground dream a reality!

Two major pieces of the original playground were replaced, and eleven new pieces were added, creating an enormous area of fun for our students!

The inspection passed last week and Irving students wasted no time at all taking their turn to check it out!

Last week the Irving community was showered with love! Ms. Gosch and the Irving PTA and community outdid themselves with a Star Wars Themed appreciation week!
We all enjoyed the "Jedi Juice Bar," Desserts, Nachos, Trail Mix Bar, Pizza, Popcorn, and more!

Congratulations to the top 3 staff members who battled till the end in our first "Rock, Paper, Scissors" competition to collect the most Lei's. Ms. Scherer walked away as this year's winner! Thank you for all the love!

Math is an important part of our everyday lives! It's more than just getting the right answer - it's about thinking, wondering, and explaining ideas. Learning math through fun, hands-on experiences is a great way for families to spend time together while building confidence and curiosity!

Our 3rd graders had a fantastic field trip to Agriculture Day at State Fair Park! They explored 20+ hands-on learning stations highlighting Wisconsin agriculture including dairy and honey production, growing and caring for crops, agriculture careers, sustainability, and more. Students also enjoyed seeing miniature horses, two day old chicks, and sheep up close. A fun and memorable day of learning in action!

Irving Playground Update

Dear Irving Families,
Today marks the fifth full day of construction on our playground, and we are making great progress.

Weather permitting, I am hopeful the playground will be ready for students by the end of next week.

This project has been five years in the making, and I am truly excited that our students will have the opportunity to enjoy it this school year.

The project includes eight new play features, along with repairs and replacements to several parts of our existing structure. We are also especially pleased that the playground will have a safe surface with NO concerns about holes and uneven areas.

Happy Occupational Therapy Month! We celebrate the hard work of our Occupational therapists. Each day, they work tirelessly preparing our students for everyday life activities (occupations) that promote health, well-being, and the ability to participate in the important activities in life!
