We are proud to celebrate Vaishnavi Panchavati, Salutatorian for the Wiregrass Ranch High School Class of 2026.

Vaishnavi’s journey at WRHS highlights a deep commitment to growth, determination, and embracing challenges. Through her academic achievements, leadership roles, extracurricular involvement, and research experiences, she has built the confidence to step beyond her comfort zone and view every experience as an opportunity to learn and improve. Her focus on progress over perfection truly reflects her strength of character and drive for excellence.

This fall, Vaishnavi will join the University of Florida Honors Program on the pre-med track, where she plans to major in Microbiology and Cell Science and minor in Business Administration. We are incredibly proud of Vaishnavi’s dedication, ambition, and passion for learning. We look forward to all she will accomplish as she continues her journey toward a future in medicine.

We are proud to celebrate Gavin Sawall, Valedictorian for the Wiregrass Ranch High School Class of 2026.

Gavin’s journey at WRHS reflects a powerful commitment to growth, resilience, and excellence. Through a demanding academic path, he embraced challenges with perseverance, pushing beyond limits and turning obstacles into opportunities. His perspective on learning—viewing setbacks as fuel for future success—truly sets him apart as a leader among his peers.

Gavin will continue his journey at the University of Florida, where he plans to study mechanical engineering.

We are proud to recognize James Banks II, a senior in our WRHS Teacher Academy, who has successfully completed all four years of the program.Throughout the academy, James has built strong relationships and developed meaningful skills through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences alongside both peers and educators.

James will be continuing his educational journey at Florida International University, where he plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, with future goals of earning a master’s in medical education and a doctorate in osteopathic medicine.

We are incredibly proud of James’s dedication, ambition, and commitment to both education and future service in the medical field. We look forward to seeing all that he will accomplish ahead.

We are proud to recognize Ethan Parris, a senior in our WRHS Teacher Academy, who has successfully completed all four years of the program. Throughout his time in the academy, Ethan has developed valuable skills in teaching, collaboration, and leadership.

Ethan will be continuing his education at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he plans to study Professional Music Performance & Production. We are incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and accomplishments, and we look forward to seeing all he will achieve in the future. Congratulations, Ethan! 🐂

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at WRHS’s Academic Excellence Honors and Awards Ceremony held last night.
This special evening recognized our top scholars for their hard work and dedication, including recipients of Academic Excellence departmental awards, AP Capstone Diplomas, A.A. Degrees, National Merit Finalists, the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award, the U.S. Committee for Ukrainian Holodomor Awareness Award, and our Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

📸🔬 WRHS Shines on the Global Stage at ISEF!

Last week, five exceptional WRHS students—Gabriella Ginesin, James Jedrzejczyk, Kundana Kommini, Anvi Nemade, and Carson West—proudly represented Wiregrass Ranch High School and Pasco County at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix. Competing alongside more than 1,700 students from 67 countries, they delivered truly remarkable results.

Their accomplishments also made history for both WRHS and Pasco County, earning an incredible five awards—the highest total of any school in Florida—while setting new school records for participation and achievement.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication. Their success reflects the excellence and innovation of our students. Be sure to congratulate them when you see them! 🐂❤️🩶 🌍🏆

📣 District Exams Begin May 18

District exams will take place May 18 through May 26. Students will follow a modified schedule, with one exam administered each day.

🔹 Where to find the schedule:
The full testing schedule, including class periods and lunch times, is available on our school website and in our school newsletter.

✅ Important reminders:
Students must arrive on time. Exams begin promptly each morning.
Lunch is based on students’ assigned A/B schedule.
Encourage your child to get plenty of rest and come prepared.
