LaVonte Dell was recently pulled over, writing on his page: ”Yesterday I was pulled over in Westland for my window tint. This stop was nothin like I thought it would be. He got my s—t and was walking back to the car and seen my daughter wasn’t in a car seat. So he asked me to get out and speak with him. He asked why didn’t she have one and I told him all I been thru this year like I barely making it because of these garnishments and I really don’t like asking people for (stuff). Do you know this white police officer told me to follow him to Walmart on Ford road and he purchased my daughter a car seat with his own money. If you would have seen us in Walmart u would have thought we were best friends. It was like night and day. U got me hella tats walkin side by side with a white officer Westland at that. I’ve been calling all day trying to get his name because I was so in shock. I didn’t even look at his name tag. Never judge a book by it’s cover it’s most def is some good guys left. I told him I never met a officer like u. He said I’m just doing my job what good would giving u a ticket do besides putting u further in the hole making it harder on you to come up." Westward Police Department posted shortly thereafter. "The Westland Police Department would like to express how proud we are of the officer responsible, Officer Joshua Scaglione. We would also like to thank the driver, LaVonte Dell for coming forward and sharing this experience with us. Here are a few pictures of our amazing son Nathan David West! This is the 1st time I’ve been able to post anything on”son’s day “,Since Nate went to Heaven on Jan 21,2019 @ 4:40pm. I’m @ Heather’s parents home during “hurricane Ian. “I don’t have pictures with me of the other 3 kiddo’s. Nate & Heather met & fell in love at Grace College in IN.After they graduated they were married & had 5 kiddo’s.Nate loved kids & ppl! A yr after he went to see Jesus. I asked Carter 11yrs old then. Is there anything Daddy did that drove you crazy? He immediately said YES! surprised, I said, what was it. He said, you know how he always wore OU things all the time. He did. Carter said ppl would say did you go to OU? Daddy would say oh no. I went to college in the Bible Belt of the country…IN. Then Daddy would tell them all about Jesus & how He died on the cross & rose from the dead.So we could ask Him into our hearts & go to Heaven! Then we would go somewhere else & someone would ask him that again! We really wouldn’t mind too much because we always had so much fun with Daddy!
We all miss Nate more than anyone could
imagine.We all know we will see him again in Heaven!

Praise you Jesus! God knows how & when to Bless us!I sang How Great Thou Art to Daddy as he took his last breath on earth & his 1st steps into heaven! I miss him so much!
