Our nature preserve is a beautiful place where our visitors may enjoy sitting and watching the many species that are native to the Rio Grande Valley. From the dozens of plants and flowers, to the hundreds of butterflies that visit our surroundings. Our Frontera Audubon Society was recognized in 1978, and by 1994, it became a Texas Historic Landmark.

Guess what? The warblers are back. Three Canada Warblers and a Yellow -breasted Chat were spotted by Angelina on yesterday's bird walk. We are closed today, but check it out tomorrow morning and maybe glimpse the Groove-billed Anis as well.
