Precinct 1 Storm Response Update

Over the last few days, our Precinct 1 team has been working in flood-prone areas to ensure drainage systems are clear and flowing properly. Our team is also out addressing clogged drains caused by illegal dumping.

Unfortunately, this storm brought heavy rains primarily over the Precinct 1 area. Our staff continues to respond to resident concerns and is assisting the City of Weslaco, which was heavily impacted along with other areas in Alamo, Donna, Mercedes, Progreso and the Delta Area.

We appreciate the photos and videos you have sent documenting conditions in your neighborhoods. We have received your emails and concerns and will continue to work with the Hidalgo County Drainage District to address these issues.
