The America 250 Concert Series kicks off TONIGHT at Rotary Park!

Join Wentzville Parks and Recreation for a FREE concert featuring The Lone Rangers at 6:30 p.m. This lively 90s cover band will bring a wide range of recognizable hits to the stage for the first concert of the summer. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy a festive evening of food trucks, kids' entertainment and live music as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday in Wentzville.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Salute Our Flag at the WREC in celebration of Flag Day on Wednesday, June 10. Hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), this special ceremony honored Old Glory and recognized the history and significance of the American flag. 🇺🇸 We appreciate all who attended and helped make this meaningful community event possible.

The Wentzville Ice Arena was thrilled to host its Summer Figure Skating Exhibition on Saturday, June 6. The show featured 14 talented skaters who took the ice with routines choreographed to their favorite summer hits. Each performance showed their hard work, creativity and love for skating. ⛸️✨

Give your young artist a chance to explore color, creativity and fun with two upcoming art classes for ages 9-12!

🎉 Pastel Party Frogs | June 29 at 5:30 p.m.
Artists will use oil pastels to create a silly frog wearing a festive party hat, complete with bright colors, soft shading, bold textures and a glowing background.

🌊 Underwater Painting | July 13 at 5:30 p.m.
Artists will blend shades of blue to create a magical ocean scene filled with sea turtles, fish, bubbles and ocean life.

• Designate a “Water Watcher” when swimming in groups
• Know your child’s swimming ability
• Flotation devices are not life-saving equipment
• Follow all posted pool rules, including no running and no rough play.

Make plans to celebrate America's 250th birthday this year on July 4!

The day begins with the annual Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m., starting at the Wentzville Ice Arena and traveling south on Luetkenhaus Boulevard before turning onto Pearce Boulevard and ending near Pearce Boulevard and Allen Street.

Then, once the sun goes down, bring a lawn chair and watch the fireworks light up the sky at Rotary Park! Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. Please note, Rotary Park is simply the fireworks viewing location and will not have additional activities or programming.

Off-Ice Conditioning for Figure Skaters is designed to help skaters build strength, endurance and flexibility while learning proper jumping techniques. Whether skaters are working toward higher jumps, stronger spins or better overall performance, this class will give them the edge they need on the ice and help them build confidence.
