Looking for a way to support the CAC? 👀 We’re in need of some tangible donations!

If you’re interested in donating, some of our biggest needs right now include…
👉 Walmart Mainstays Fleece Blankets (these are the ones that come rolled up for around $5)
👉 Boxes of all sizes (used but in good condition works for us!)
👉 Packing tape
👉 Masking tape
👉 Bubble wrap

If you’d like to contribute any of these items, you can drop them off on the administrative side of our Wentzville office M-F 8:30am-3:30pm. 💙

👉 One of the biggest things that online predators look for is a child who is curious and willing to talk about s*x. 

It’s important to have regular, open conversations with your kids about s*x, even if it feels awkward. Kids need someone safe and knowledgeable to go to with questions or just to talk to, and predators are excellent at filling that role as a grooming tactic.

Our new facility dog, York, continues to make wonderful progress!

He is officially done with mock interviews and has now been participating in forensic interviews with children for almost a month. During one of his recent interviews, York remained in place as instructed, providing comfort and support to a child for three hours. Way to go, York!

Here’s a photo of him with some of our multidisciplinary team members who got to witness him working with a child.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day to our facility dogs, Mac and York!
