Wentworth Fire & EMS is proud to shine this Member Spotlight on Rebecca, whose dedication, growth, and commitment to our department have stood out since she joined the team about three years ago.
Since coming through our doors, Rebecca has shown a true can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn. She has worked hard through training in PPE, SCBA, Equipment operations, CPR, Vehicle extrication, and many other Firefighter I skills. She is also enrolled in the state academy–driven program for Firefighter I and Firefighter II, continuing to build a strong foundation in the fire service.
One of Rebecca’s most recent accomplishments has been completing her EMT class, which she began in early winter. She recently finished the course and passed her [National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians]() EMT test successfully, an impressive achievement that reflects both her preparation and determination. She is already signed up for the Advanced EMT program coming up in late summer and early fall.
Some know her as Pinky on mutual aid calls, and at the station we know her as the snack girl because she always brings snacks and tasty treats to meetings and trainings. More importantly, she is a tremendous asset to both the department and the community. Rebecca responds from work during the day when needed, rarely misses a run, and balances her time between family, work, and the fire department with the strong support of her family. We are excited to watch her continue to grow through the ranks of our department. Congratulations, Rebecca, on your latest achievement and on the dedication you show every step of the way.
