Memorial Day as defined on Wikipedia:

"Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. From 1868 to 1970, it was observed on May 30. Since 1970, it is observed on the last Monday of May. "

We mourn for the families that have been broken, the communities that lost their friends, the world which lost so much potential.

However, today we take a special break to remember those that have paid the ultimate price for our nation.

I humbly beg you to join us in honoring those lives in the best way possible by demanding our government end the wars, cease frivolous foreign intervention, and remove ourselves from foreign entanglements that may be used to justify sending our soldiers to war.
