Wenona Chamber of Commerce Dedicated group of businessmen and women and other civic minded individuals.

Situated in a prime location along Interstate 39, Wenona is 20 miles south of I-80, 40 miles north of Bloomington-Normal and 110 miles southwest of Chicago. Wenona is close to urban areas to benefit from the social and business activities found there, but far enough away to enjoy the quality of life found in rural communities.

As a thank you for all the support at the 2026 Chamber Auction, we are hosting a Community Cook-Out at the Wenona Pond on Saturday, May 30th, time to be determined. While we are still ironing out a few details, here is what we can share:

Seating: This is a picnic-style gathering, please bring your lawn chairs, blankets or other portable seating. Enjoy a nice day under the sun (hopefully) at this great community resource.

Food: We will be grilling hot dogs and brats, serving with chips and bottles of water.

Parking: To help alleviate congestion, if you are able to bring your golf cart or UTV out, that would help greatly. Again, more information to be shared in the coming days, but we are looking forward to a great event to say thank you to all of our supporters!

With the Main Street sidewalk renovation project expected to start up, we are looking for businesses to display our Tribute to Our Heroes banners in their windows. Banners are 24"W c 48"L. We are looking to display them for Memorial Day and 4th of July. Please reach out if you are interested. Thank you for helping us honor our heroes!

Happy Easter! Thanks to all for your support of the Egg My Yard program this year. We were able to raise $550 for Wenona St. Nick's Program and distribute over 850 eggs to 24 yards!

We are doing something a little different this year with the 'Egg My Yard' event. For a $10 donation to the Wenona St. Nick's Program you will receive 20 candy-filled eggs in your yard the night before Easter Sunday.
