☀️ Hello June! Summer is here, and with that comes summer camps!

Wendell Parks & Recreation will play host to several camps this summer. Some will be hosted by our staff, others by our community partners.

From arts to cooking and everything in between, there is a little bit of everything this year!

Featuring a concert from The Main Event Band at 7 PM, golf cart and bike parade for America 250, crowd performers, and much more, we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Wendell Park for one of our biggest events of the year.

🍓 With summer nearly here, our annual Summer Foods Program is back. Beginning June 23, kids and teens age 18 and under can get a FREE healthy meal at the Wendell Community Center (601 W. Third Street).

The meals will be on Tuesdays and Fridays and will be available from 12 PM to 1 PM, eat-in only.

🏀 Tiny Basketball registration is open!

This program is designed especially for 3-4 year olds and focuses on fun, basic skills, and learning the game in a supportive environment!

Sessions will be held every Monday/Wednesday from 6 PM to 6:45 PM beginning August 10 and running through September 2. The cost is only $30.

Register now at townofwendellnc.gov/signup. Give our staff a call at (919) 366-2266 for more info. Come watch your little one learn, grow, and love the game of basketball!
