Today is Library Giving Day!
The friends of the Wendell Free Library are kicking off fundraising to revitalize our beloved Library's playground! The resurrection of the old play structures, additional new features and lay outs are in the process, with a hopeful completetion date of Summer 2025. The community needs support, and YOU can give today to help this cause and make this space a magical and fun space for all once again!

Patrons love seeing the changing art on the walls in the Herrick Room. We’d love to see your art hanging on the walls, too!

The Wendell Free Library is looking for artists interested in showing their work in the Herrick Room Gallery. The Library also has a glass display cabinet available. Applications are available on the Library Website or at the Wendell Library. Currently 2025 has to exhibit times available: January/February and July/August.

Come shop at the Wendell Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday December 14th from 9am-4pm.

Pick up one of our Montague Reporter t-shirts and the 2024 Special Wrapping Paper Edition at the Wendell Craft Fair!
The event is at the Wendell Meetinghouse on Friday evening, December 13th, from 4:00-8:00pm, and Saturday, December 14th, 9:00-4:00pm. The first hour of each date will be for masked shoppers only, with masks available at the door.
The fair, which is sponsored by the Wendell Free Library, will feature live music, raffles, and many locally made arts and crafts.
The library will have baked goods and cider available on Friday evening, to benefit the Friends.
The wrapping paper edition and t-shirt are also available online at montaguereporter.org.
The Montague Reporter received support for printing this edition from anonymous donors and the Greenfield Savings Bank.

Wendell Holiday Craft Fair

Come out to the annual Wendell Holiday Craft Fair to support the artists of our community and benefit The Friends of the Wendell Free Library!

The first hour of each day is for masked shoppers.

Live music, raffles, refreshments.
Locally made and crafted items including: wooden bowls + utensils, jewelry, pottery, soaps, wooden knits, maple syrup, paintings, cards, photography, candles, clothing, and more.
