The gnomes and fairies are on the move again!

September has arrived, which means our tiny friends have packed up and found brand-new hiding spots throughout Ohme Gardens. Some may be easy to spot, while others will take a little extra exploring.

Pick up a free Gnome & Fairy Hunt map at the ticket office, search the Gardens for all 10 hidden friends, then turn in your completed map to be entered into our monthly drawing.

A new month means a whole new hunt. Come see where they’re hiding this time!

There’s something about Top Pool that feels especially beautiful this time of year. Surrounded by the natural stonework and lush greenery of Ohme Gardens, the water catches the summer light filtering through the trees.

It’s one of the many details that makes a walk through the Gardens feel a little different every time you visit.

Have you discovered Ohme Gardens’ watering tree?

Known as “Stump Water,” this unique feature dates back to the early 1940s, when a tree stump was tapped and began producing cold, clear water, a tradition that continues today.

It’s a small piece of the garden’s history and a reminder of its early days, when the Ohme family watered the landscape by hand, hauling milk cans of water up from their orchard before eventually creating a full irrigation system.

Keep an eye out for Stump Water on your next walk through the gardens.

We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer.

The Gardens are still full of color, sunshine, and those little moments that make this season so special. A walk past the Wishing Well, flowers still in bloom, and even a tiny visitor soaking up the sun on the rocks.

There’s something special about this time of year at Ohme Gardens, when summer begins to slow down but there is still so much beauty left to enjoy.

Come wander a little longer. Summer isn’t over yet.
