🎉 A Major Milestone for Antelope! 🎉

We are excited to share some positive news with our Antelope community.

As of May 31, 2026, Antelope Union High School District has successfully paid off all outstanding registered warrants, a significant step forward in our journey toward long-term financial stability and a hopeful exit from receivership.

While there is still work ahead, this accomplishment reflects the dedication of our staff, Governing Board, community members, and the guidance we have received throughout this process. Just three years ago, Antelope faced significant financial challenges. Today, we continue making meaningful progress toward a stronger and more sustainable future.

This milestone means we are improving our financial health, strengthening our ability to support students, and building a foundation for continued success.

Thank you to our students, families, staff, and community for your support, patience, and belief in Antelope. Together, we are honoring our past and building our future.

🌎 Bring the World to Antelope! 🌎

Have you ever considered hosting an international exchange student?

We are currently looking for host families for four amazing students who are excited to experience life in rural Arizona and become part of our community for the upcoming school year.

⭐ Kosuma (Cambodia) loves astronomy and dreams of spending time under our beautiful dark desert skies. If your family enjoys stargazing or has a telescope, she would love the opportunity to learn more about the stars.

🎭 Ariana (Italy) enjoys pets, cooking, chess, and spending time in the mountains. She also hopes to become an actress one day!

⚽ Emilian (Germany) is passionate about soccer and would be a fantastic addition to a soccer-loving family and our athletic community.

🎵 Linus (Germany) loves music, dance, theatre, sports, and fitness. He would thrive with a family that enjoys creativity and staying active.

Hosting an exchange student is a unique opportunity to share our culture, build lifelong friendships, and make a meaningful impact on a young person's life while learning about another part of the world.

🏥 Free Sports Physical Opportunities Still Available! 🏥

Antelope students and families, if you missed our annual free physical event this past May, there is still time to get your required sports physical completed before the start of the school year!

Important Reminders:
✅ A parent or guardian must accompany the student.
✅ Students must bring the approved AIA physical packet and any required medical documentation.
✅ Physicals are required for participation in Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) athletics and many extracurricular activities.

📣 FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR KIDS & TEENS IN WELLTON! ☀️🍎🥪

Wellton Elementary School will once again be offering FREE breakfast and lunch meals to all children and teens ages 0–18 this summer through the Sun Meals Program!

📍 Location: Wellton Elementary School
📅 Dates: June 1 – June 25, 2026
⏰ Serving Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
🍽️ Meals Served: Breakfast & Lunch
💲 Cost: Completely FREE
📝 Registration: No application or sign-up required

Families are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity to ensure students continue receiving healthy meals throughout the summer months. Meals are available to all children and teens regardless of school enrollment.

Attached are the June breakfast and lunch menus, along with additional program information in both English and Spanish.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing AUHS Booster Club for organizing a fundraiser to support AUHS student-athletes for the 2026–2027 school year!

📅 Saturday, May 30th, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
📍 Ed Whitehead’s Tire – Wellton, AZ

All student-athletes will have the opportunity to sell car wash tickets to help cover the required $100 sports registration fee for the upcoming school year.

🎟️ 20 tickets per athlete
💲 $5 each
✅ Sell all 20 and the registration fee is fully covered!

This is currently planned to be the only sports fundraiser opportunity for athletes, so we strongly encourage all students planning to participate in athletics next year to get involved.

We truly appreciate our Booster Club, families, volunteers, and community members for supporting AUHS Athletics and helping our students succeed both on and off the field.

This is a reminder that the Antelope Union High School Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will begin in just one hour at 8:00 PM on Buckeye Field.

We recommend that all guests arrive by 7:45 PM to allow time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins.

Tonight, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, resilience, and accomplishments of the incredible Class of 2026. We are proud of each and every graduate and look forward to honoring this important milestone together as a school community.
