Buckeye Furnace Historic Site

The museum officially opened on Saturday in conjunction with Raccoon Creek Market. The building has received some much needed restoration. It now has a brand new, beautiful solid oak floor, the bottom part of the back wall was replaced, new paint, new displays, the front windows were reglazed and new lighting is on its way. The park is also getting all new signs.

If you missed Saturday's market or haven't been out in a while - or at all, now is the time to check out all the new!

Museum hours are 12-4pm Saturdays and Sundays from now until October.

☀️ TOMORROW!! Come on out to Buckeye Furnace Historic Site in Wellston, OH, 10am-4pm and support small, local businesses, have lunch and enjoy a free concert! Its going to be a fabulous day!

Over 30 unique vintage and handmade vendors. Pulled Pork, Hawaiian and Coffee trucks along with talented, bluesy-country-folk musicians all day long. Tour the historic park and visit the museum. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Free admission and free parking.

KIDS SCAVENGER HUNT! We're doing it again this year! Stop by the first booth when you come in and pick up a card. There are 8 pictures in various booths the kids have to find. When it's completed (not required 🙂), take the card to the museum for a goodie bag. Have fun!! 🐦
