It’s almost picnic time! ☀️ Laudholm Lawn Day is on - today June 20, 4-7pm. ☀️ flowers, native plants, ice cream, lawn games, nature walks, and more!

🍴bring your own picnic to enjoy. If you’d like to picnic in style you can purchase one of these new Wells Reserve picnic blankets!
🥂 beer, wine, and cocktails available for purchase. (Please no outside alcohol.)
🧘🏻‍♀️ yoga is at 6pm on the lawn. BYO mat or towel if you’d like to participate.

An annual favorite returns next Tuesday, June 23! Dwellers of the Wells Reserve is a fun opportunity to gather as a community to create a large-scale portrait of an animal that calls the Wells Reserve home. People of all ages and abilities are invited to discover their artistic side and paint a small segment of the portrait. Free with site admission. Usually behind the scenes mowing, painting, building, and beautifying this place, our amazing facilities volunteers always emerge around 10am for their morning fika ~ a break for coffee and pastries. We caught them on their way this morning and had to practically beg for a picture. Show them some love before they make us delete it! 😉

We're very excited to announce a new community event this June! ☀ Save the date and join us on Saturday, June 20th, 4-7pm to welcome the summer together with Laudholm Lawn Day: Summer Solstice Celebration! ☀ Bring a picnic, bring a friend, and enjoy a fun array of activities to celebrate the season!

Reminder! Tomorrow, June 4, 5:30-7pm is the first event in the Resilience in Action speaker series at Wells Public Library. A panel of local community leaders will share how the state's Community Resilience Partnership is helping them strengthen their communities and adapt to increasing hazards. We'll hear about specific local projects as well as what opportunities exist for Wells to benefit from this program. Plus, time for audience Q&A.
