The Town of Wells will be having West Lake Road paved starting May 26, 2026. Please expect some delays.

We will be putting flags out at the cemetery on Saturday May 23, 2026, at 9 am. If you would like to help us, please meet us at the cemetery.

Notice to the homeowners of the Town Of Wells::
The Wells assessors will be out this week looking at properties that have made changes. Their vehicles are marked with Nemrc or Town of Wells either on the vehicle or on the dash board of the pickup. Any questions please call the office, 802-645-0486.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Ron Dreher. Ron was a long time lister for the Town of Wells and very active in fund raising for the new Town building. Our deepest condolences go out to his family.

Reminder::Wells transfer station permit holders: The transfer station will be open tomorrow, April 4, 2026 10am-2pm instead of Easter Sunday.

It is with great sadness that we have learned our former Town Clerk/Town Treasurer Kathy Bergen has passed away. Kathy and her family are longtime residents of the town of Wells. Our condolences go out to Kathy’s family.
