Wellfleet Cultural Council is a local agency funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and receives supplemental funding from the Town of Wellfleet

The Local Cultural Council (LCC) program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually. The program promotes the availability of rich cultural experiences for every Massachusetts citizen. Each year, WCC receives funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which is supplemented by additional funding from the Town of Wellfleet, and makes grants for programs that benefit the Wellfleet community.

The Wellfleet Cultural District and Council participated in a terrific all-day learning session this week at the 204 Cultural Arts Municipal Building in Harwich. We brought back many ideas and insights to build on what we are doing in Wellfleet.

The Wellfleet Cultural Council, will be holding a Bake Sale during the Fest on Bank St to raise funds to contunue sponsoring community events like PorchFest.
