⚡Another push of moisture from a low pressure system to our south will bring showers and thunderstorms late Thursday AM into the early evening. Expect nickel to quarter size hail, gusty outflow winds up to 60 mph, and brief heavy rain. The strongest storms will most likely occur over southeast Oregon and far western Idaho, primarily near Baker City!

🌩️Widespread showers and thunderstorms are anticipated beginning Friday through Saturday afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, south and west of the Snake River Valley. Some thunderstorms will be strong and long lasting, leading to threats of gusty outflow winds, hail, and heavy rain on Friday-Saturday.

Upper level trough on Friday will bring colder temperatures and widespread precipitation. The heaviest snowfall is expected across the central Idaho mountains beginning Friday morning and will continue into Saturday morning. A snow total of 4" to 8" is forecast for the lower mountain valleys with over foot of snow above 7500 feet.
