The Rotary Club of Weirton enjoyed hearing from Joe Carr who works for Premium Guard of Weirton. Last year they purchased the Rue 21 building and are now a warehouse for their main company that makes and buys car and truck filters with this being the main division that ships to Canada. Other divisions in the Us manufacture and purchase filters for the USA. They currently employ 60 people and are looking to expand to 100 over the next year. Pay is competitive to Amazon and they are looking for good people to hire. Great company for Weirton and the USA. In the Photo is Eric Waggoner, Rotarian and sponsor of Taylor Bernard our newest member and Joe Carr.

The Rotary club of Weirton had The Weir High school cheerleaders. They were discussing their fundraiser. $25 for a let’s go riders yard sign. The money goes to the cheer boosters. They use this money for the girls. They feed them, buy uniforms/ replacements for worn items. They wanted to do the yard signs this year to bring back Weir School Spirit to the community and show our support for the kids.
