A red flag warning has been issued for western Missouri and southeast Kansas for elevated to significant fire weather conditions expected this afternoon. Humidity levels in the 20s will combine with wind gusts over 30 mph at times to bring about these conditions. Elevated to Significant Fire Danger means that weather and land conditions are favorable for erratic fire spread, if a fire does start.
